“Gli Incontri di Valore”, the eighth edition of Nicola Ruocco’s Review is underway

After an edition full of exceptional guests, the “Gli Incontri di Valore” event kicks off, in its eighth edition in just three years since its birth. Founded and curated in Pompei by manager Nicola Ruocco, and hosted in the elegant location of Habita79, from Saturday 10 May until the month of September , the famous event will welcome several new important guests from the world of culture, essays, journalism, sports, music, and economics, for a prestigious and very important program, all in an exclusive concept of a talk lounge directed personally by Ruocco. “Gli Incontri di Valore” is now an authentic national excellence; a review that has welcomed over 100 different guests in the previous 7 editions such as the Minister of Justice Nordio, Maurizio De Giovanni, Marino Bartoletti, Matteo Renzi, Francesco Sole, Paolo Borzacchiello, Federico Rampini, Teo Teocoli, Stefania Craxi, Federico Marchetti, Paolo Stella, Enrico Vanzina, Matteo Bassetti, Giusy Versace and many others, recording a significant public participation, with over 3000 total attendees in the single edition. A very exclusive concept of a living room, born from the intuition and passion of the founder Ruocco in creating a positive sharing and reflection on the main themes of our current affairs, through the suggestive increase in value represented by books. Each Meeting is completely open to the public and gathers a large participation among reading enthusiasts, families, professionals, associations and institutions of the territory. All right in Pompeii, a UNESCO heritage site, and the undisputed home of History and Culture.
“Gathering over 100 guests in less than three years, in a salon of recognized importance and conviviality” comments Nicola Ruocco “is something decidedly important, but even more important is the atmosphere itself that you breathe at “Gli Incontri di Valore”: a great spirit of friendship, of comparison, of will to delve into the most recurring themes today, sharing reflections and experiences.” Ruocco continues: “I am happy to involve several schools in the initiative, so that moments of reflection and cultural sharing involve as much as possible also the young people, who represent the future of our community” He finally concludes “The secret of the success of the event is also the “heart” factor. The heart that I put into organizing and conducting a splendid event, but certainly not easy. And perhaps this is precisely the secret behind the dreams of each of us: putting the heart before everything! All that remains is to renew the invitation, come and sit in the Salon, and long live Culture, long live Pompeii!” During the presentation, Ruocco described the entire program of the edition “Great authors, great guests, great content, great audience. This is the perfect mix of the next Eighth Edition of Gli Incontri di Valore, a surprising, extraordinary, suggestive review. From Craxi to Cottarelli, from Bassetti to Gucci, from Napolitano to De Giovanni, and also Borzacchiello, Rampini, Gratteri and many others! I do not deny a certain emotion on my part.” The first guest meanwhile was Carlo Sama , entrepreneur and manager, brother-in-law and right-hand man of Raul Gardini, he was responsible for External Relations of the Ferruzzi-Montedison Group, president of the newspaper Il Messaggero and Telemontecarlo and CEO of Montedison. In his book “The fall of an empire” he narrates the story of the agro-industrial giant created by Serafino Ferruzzi and the expansion during the management of Raul Gardini.
On the review, the Mayor of Pompeii Carmine Lo Sapi o comments: “Gli Incontri di Valore is an initiative that unites worlds and creates culture”, and again Felice Casucci, Regional Councilor for Tourism and Culture “The editions of Incontri di Valore, brilliantly created by the patron Nicola Ruocco, welcoming every year more and more effective testimonies, put at the center the cultural tension between what happens and what we think is happening”. Angelo Polimeno Bottai, tg1 books, RAI also comments: “A great review, a great commitment, which follows the thought of Oscar Wilde, who maintained that “there are no rules in books, it is good to read everything”. My heartfelt compliments go to Nicola Ruocco and his Review “Gli Incontri di Valore”.
The fine structure of the Hotel Habita79 will welcome the event into its living rooms; its director Riccardo Mantilacci says: “An informal and stimulating atmosphere will welcome guests and the public in a continuous and participatory dialogue, symbol of a growing cultural community. The eighth edition represents not only a confirmation, but a leap in quality: Incontri di Valore is today a brand of excellence, synonymous with dense content, engaging experiences and views projected towards the future”. The event, in its new eighth edition, is supported by many partners who are increasingly close to the splendid success of the cultural initiative. On the topic, Giovanni Acanfora , President of Givova: “We are proud to also be sponsors of the new edition of Incontri di Valore, conceived by Nicola Ruocco, to whom we are bound by a partnership of esteem and affection. A prestigious literary event in the heart of Pompeii, a true living room of culture and beauty in a perfect location for special meetings with exceptional guests, where words are transformed into emotions and leave a deep mark”. Among the main partners are also Movilift, the Marican Group and Lollo Caffè , other brilliant entrepreneurial realities, which comment univocally "We are close to the event because today investing in culture means investing in the future of our society". Feelings that are naturally joined by all the other partners who support the event, in addition to the schools, and associations that have granted their closeness and patronage.
